My Hero Academia season 8 has officially revealed will be the final season of the anime. This exciting news came right after the conclusion of the seventh season’s finale, called “Battle Without a Quirk,” which just aired in Japan. Be sure to watch the announcement video!
My Hero Academia season 8 Teaser
The season finale aired with live commentary from Daiki Yamashita (Deku) and Kenta Miyake (All Might), who also hosted a special program following the announcement of My Hero Academia Season 8. Studio BONES will be back to handle the animation, and character designer Yoshihiko Umakoshi created the teaser visual.
Kohei Horikoshi’s manga concluded this August, and shortly after, a Global Character Popularity Poll was introduced. Besides the TV anime, the franchise boasts four animated films: Two Heroes (2018), Heroes: Rising (2019), World Heroes’ Mission (2021), and the currently screening You’re Next, which is being shown worldwide.
Studio BONES was responsible for animating the first seven seasons of the TV series along with four films that explore side stories. The chief director is Kenji Nagasaki, with Naomi Nakayama serving as the director. Yosuke Kuroda handles the series composition, while Hitomi Udashima and Yoshihiko Umakoshi take care of character design. Yuki Hayashi returns to compose the music.
Crunchyroll is now streaming the latest season of My Hero Academia with both English subtitles and dubbed options. The platform summarizes the story as follows: Izuku has always aspired to be a hero, a challenging ambition for anyone, especially for a boy without any superpowers. In a world where eighty percent of people possess some form of super-powered “quirk,” Izuku stands out as completely ordinary. However, this doesn’t deter him from pursuing his dream at one of the most esteemed hero academies in the world.
